1. Check Gmail Status
First of all, check the current status of Gmail. If there is a major issue then you need to wait for the Google team to fix the problem. If there is no problem with servers then proceed on further solutions to fix it.
2. Restart Your PC
If you are facing an outdated account setting issue, then the easy way to resolve it is to restart your PC. To do it-
- Go to Start Menu and click on the Power Options tab to choose the Restart option.
Once done go back to the Mail app to check error is solved or not.
3. Update Password
Sometimes, Gmail account settings out-of-date error indicate that you need to update your password. If you change your Gmail password then you need to update it in the Mail app. To do it-
- Open Mail app on your system and click on Fix Account option.
- Now, enter Gmail email address and click on Next.
- Enter the updated password and press Next button.

4. Check System Date and Time
