First of all, uninstall the current version from
Windows: cPanel >> Add or Remove Programs. If any left-out files is still available in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\ then, delete them.
Mac: Delete Thunderbird from the Application folder.
Linux: Delete or remove the Thunderbird folder from your home directory.
Now download the latest version of Thunderbird (https://www.thunderbird.net/) and install it in your system.
A fresh clean install of Mozilla Thunderbird client will fix this issue. That’s it.
